Hearing is an important part of life, and many motorsport fans do not follow common hearing protection practices. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) states that a person can listen to a constant sound, up to a 90 decibel (dB) for 8 hours straight without any hearing damage. At 115 dB, you can listen to a constant sound safely for only 15 minutes. One race car at full throttle is approximately 130 dB echoing off of aluminum grandstands. Ear plugs and ear muffs are the best solution to protecting your hearing while at the racetrack.

At only 24 years old, Levi Nielsen has become the I-35 Speedway Modified Track Champion for 2012, 2013, and 2014. In 2015, Levi Nielsen Motorsports competed in a total of 24events, and even won in the transitional season.

- July 8 – Craftsman World of Outlaws Late Models.
- Aug. 14 – United States Modified Touring Series (Hunt for the Casey’s Cup).
- Aug. 28 – Season Championship.
- Sept. 30-Oct. 1 – Five Star Classic.
