Hearing Associates will donate a portion of all hearing aid sales during the months of May and June to My Happy Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing awe-inspiring bedroom makeovers for children suffering from a chronic or terminal illness.
Many of the children My Happy Place serves come from homes where having a clean, therapeutic environment to sleep in isn’t possible. The agency aims to provide these children with a space where they can heal and thrive, a bedroom full of their favorite characters, colors and personal items. My Happy Place gives sick children hope by giving them a safe, comfortable bedroom in which they can just be a kid.
“Most amazing people and the best organization around!” said the mother of a child helped by My Happy Place. “Your kindness and generosity extend much further than a room makeover; it ripples throughout the community as people become connected in the most meaningful ways. We are blessed to be part of the My Happy Place family.”
Hearing Associates donated a portion of all hearing aid sales and $20 for every free screening completed during the months of May and June to My Happy Place, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing awe-inspiring bedroom makeovers for children with terminal illness. In May and June, $5,200 was donated to My Happy Place.
The organization’s goal is to put a smile on the child’s face and aid in the healing process of both the child and their family.
