After we’ve helped you determine which hearing aid are best for you, we’ll measure your ears and order your devices. Once your devices arrive, we’ll fit them to your ears using Real Ear Measurement (REM) to identify peak performance and program them according to your hearing test results and preferenc

Educating Our Patients

Our commitment to our patients includes ensuring that each person knows how to clean and protect their hearing aids and change hearing aid batteries. Knowing how to maintain your devices will extend their lifespan and help them perform at their best. The staff at Hearing Associates will help you learn effective communication strategies and can provide hearing products that complement your hearing aids.

Follow-Up Care

We encourage you to bring your hearing aids to Hearing Associates quarterly so our expert staff can evaluate and thoroughly clean them. We’ll also replace specific components, such as tubing, battery doors, ear hooks, wax guards and filters if necessary.

We offer walk-in maintenance services in our Mason City office from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. free of charge for all hearing aids covered by a service plan. If you require assistance with programming your hearing devices, please schedule an appointment at one of our locations in northern Iowa or southern Minnesota.
